The Pompano Beach is dramatically situated overlooking Bermuda's southwest coast, adjacent to the Robert Trent Jones designed Port Royal Golf Course, in Southampton parish. The resort's location is considered one of the best beachfront settings on the island, offering breathtaking ocean views from every part of the property.
Since the resort is tucked away from the island's main road, guests feel as though they've escaped to a private, secluded hideaway - yet, they are only minutes away from the best that Bermuda has to offer. Most of the island's popular south shore beaches (Horseshoe, Warwick Long Bay and Church Bay) are a mere ten-minute ride from the resort.
Pompano is approximately 45 minutes from Bermuda's international airport and 25 minutes from the capital city of Hamilton. The resort provides complimentary shuttle van transportation to/from the bus stop (which is conveniently located at the hotel's entrance gate) and to/from the nearby Rockaway ferry stop (where you can enjoy a scenic boat ride to/from Hamilton).
Golfers love the fact that the resort is right next to Port Royal, the island's top rated public golf course (with the first tee only a 500 yard walk away) and only a ten to fifteen minute drive from three more quality golf courses (Riddell's Bay, Belmont Hills and Southampton Princess).
Scuba diving, jet skiing, water skiing and Boston Whaler powerboat rentals are available at Robinson's Marina - located only a five-minute ride from the resort. The intriguing Royal Naval Dockyard, a 75-acre historical structure located at the island's most northwestern point, is 15 minutes away and offers numerous sightseeing attractions (such as the Bermuda craft market, glassblowing factory, rum cake shop and Bermuda's Maritime Museum - where the popular "Dolphin Quest" operation is set up). Fort Scaur and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse are two nearby attractions that enable you to enjoy panoramic views of the island.
The Pompano Beach Club has the perfect location
to allow you to easily experience
what Bermuda is all about.
The resort has its own private beach, with plenty of chaise lounges, sand chairs and beach umbrellas for you to use on a complimentary basis. At low tide, you can wade out over 400 yards in knee to chest deep water, along the resort's spectacular sandbar. Watersports enthusiasts and people of all ages and swimming abilities are attracted to the waterfront because of how shallow and crystal clear it is.
The shallowness of the water combined with silky smooth white sand enables you to see fish swimming along the sandbar. It's always comforting when you can see what's in the water around you and when you can touch the sand below you. Bride's Magazine has called Pompano's waterfront "the best underwater beach in the world".
The resort's breathtaking oceanfront setting,
extensive recreational facilities,
exceptionally high level of personal, caring service,
top notch cuisine and casual, relaxed
atmosphere are why so many of their guests
return to stay year after year.
