Back in the 1980s, Sharon Watkins created a novel idea for Austin. She combined a Parisian-style bakery with a casual American-style bistro. Chez Zee has provided Austin with fabulous dining, award-winning desserts, and a art- filled atmosphere for over 15 years. Chez Zee offers an ever-expanding lunch, dinner, and brunch menu, a full bar, as well as a new banquet party room to celebrate special occasions. Rest assured that with the friendly service, great food, and art adorned walls of Chez Zee, you won’t go wrong.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Hold your rehearsal dinner, bachelor/bachelorette party or wedding reception at Chez Zee American Bistro in one of our private or semi- private areas.

Our crescent room seats up to 50 and our south dining room up to 40 or have your happy hour in our lovely outdoor courtyard.

We can accommodate large Parties up to 50 people in our Crescent Room, Parties up to 30 in our "South Side" Dining Area, and Parties up to 120 in our Gallery Private Dining room.

Of course we also offer lunch, brunch, and dinner packages or cocktail and appetizer events.

Introducing "THE GALLERY " at Chez Zee
for an Artful Event

Now we have added the piece de resistance, "The Gallery" at Chez Zee. The Gallery located off our central courtyard features year round changing art exhibits and also provides a beautiful space in which to host an artful party, wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, board meeting, Holiday Party, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, simcha, or any kind of congratulation celebration.

This large private banquet room has a trellised patio garden, unique art, and is painted in the colors of the Tuscan countryside.

Featuring 2000 sq. feet of party space with walls of French windows and Chez Zee's signature twinkle lights.

ABOUT US
There is a comforting consistency to the food and attitude at Chez Zee. It's a welcoming place where you feel at ease lingering over coffee and dessert. And those desserts are among the best in the city, supplying a wickedly appealing finish to any meal.

The coco leches cake, for example, is about to become a regular on the menu. Owner Sharon Watkins and their chef worked on that confection for nearly two years before deciding they had it right.

Chez Zee offers some of the best desserts in the city, top, and is a wonderful place to linger over coco leches cake and coffee. The chicken Gorgonzola pizza, middle, is a delicious appetizer or small entree. A courtyard and expansion, bottom, created a new entrance and extra seating.
