The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum invites you to share in The Story of Texas in an exciting and engaging new way.

The Grand Lobby The spacious Grand Lobby of The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is a truly unique setting for private events. Upon entering the lobby, visitors are awed by the sight of the beautiful grand staircase hugging the four-story Rotunda trimmed in granite. On the Rotunda floor, a 40-foot circular terrazzo design depicts an unusual overhead view of a storytelling scene around a campfire. Just past the Rotunda, guests can dance across Texas - on a 50-foot granite map of the state centered in the Lobby floor. This area includes restrooms, a coat-check area, and a covered walkway from the Museum's underground parking garage. Additional space is available on the Rotunda's second floor landing, overlooking the terrazzo design.

The Second Floor Lobby & Story of Texas Cafe The Museum's Story of Texas Cafe is a delightful location for seated groups of nearly 200. Located on the Museum's second floor, the Cafe is adorned with accessories that are pure Texas, including Texas limestone and custom-made, Lone Star-shaped light fixtures. Tables and chairs for up to 118 within the Cafe, plus additional seating on the balcony, are included in the Cafe. This Cafe is available only in conjunction with the Second Floor Lobby. This is a wonderful dual space that offers a number of set-up options.
