Jeremy and Kendra met in Houston, Texas. While Kendra was visiting her friends at their apartment, she spotted Jeremy. Kendra’s friend suggested that she go over to his apartment on the pretense of borrowing his broom.

Embarrassed, but determined, Kendra made herself go over and knock on the door, but when this beautiful guy opened the door, she was so overwhelmed by him that she took the broom and completely forgot his name. When she returned the broom, she asked him if he wanted to come upstairs and hang out with them one day, and sure enough he did. They ended up talking at a party and going on a date and have been together ever since.

On Christmas morning 2004 and Jeremy and Kendra were at her mom’s house in Austin celebrating Christmas. They were exchanging gifts by the fire; it was a beautiful Christmas setting. Her entire family was there with them and at the last gift Kendra’s sister had her stand up, close her eyes and when she opened them Jeremy was kneeling in front of her. He said, "Kendra Sharee Morgan would you marry me?” “I got down to my knees and hugged him and said, "YES,” Kendra said.

Kendra and her mom (Kathy) bought her wedding dress at a little boutique in Fort Worth called Texas Bridal Dreams. It was the first and last dress that she tried on, and it fit perfectly. It was a Demetrios dress. They started planning the big event around July 2007. While out on the Jet Ski on Lake Travis, Kendra happened to look up at the Lakeway Inn, a wedding was taking place in the glass ballroom. It was so beautiful that she knew then that Lakeway Inn would be the perfect place for her wedding, and immediately set up an appointment with Yuani Valentine. “The Lakeway Inn took care of almost everything; they provided the food and beverage bar, they used their linens, place settings, and dinnerware.” “It was just wonderful,” said Kendra. After securing the Lakeway Inn as the venue, the rest of the wedding plans fell into place beautifully.

Kendra and Jeremy were married before a breathless panoramic view of Lake Travis in a simple but elegant ceremony. As the guests were served cocktails, the glass ballroom was magically transformed into a beautiful sun filled reception. After pictures, the happy couple celebrated and mingled with their family and friends. “Everything was beautiful,” said Jeremy and Kendra. They threw the traditional bouquet and boutonniere and exited the reception while their family and friends blew thousands of bubbles for the newlywed couple. Kendra and Jeremy spent a sun-filled week in Hawaii relaxing, sight seeing and enjoying each other, and to think it all started with a meeting over a broom!
