After years of successful event planning and assisting many others with their weddings, we saw a need for a different kind of venue. We had a dream of a venue that combined beautiful French-inspired facilities with a quality of service that makes your event one that is remembered with the fondest memories. As our family started dreaming about what this venue would look like and be like, Ma Maison was born.

Ma Maison, French for “my house,” was conceived playing on our family’s strong French heritage and our sense of warm and inviting southern hospitality.  We don’t just see Ma Maison as a venue, but instead, a beautiful space where we get the privilege of hosting events and weddings you have dreamed of. For us, that means averting crises before they occur and understanding traditions without being told, encouraging a timid speaker or a tearful ring bearer, and guaranteeing everyone is at the best table.

Just outside of Austin, the great Texas hill country brings you to the Provence-like region of southern France, where Ma Maison is nestled on a breezy hill among beautiful oaks. We look forwarding to meeting you and helping host and celebrate the event of a lifetime.

At Ma Maison, French design and Southern hospitality combine
to create the ultimate Texas Hill Country venue.

A nearly 10,000 square foot event site resting on 23 private secluded oak-covered acres, Ma Maison overlooks the scenic Lac Moise. Featuring an array of indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception sites, we offer an ideal setting for you to experience your wedding vision come to life. Our Great Hall is a 4000 square foot grand hall with exposed wooden beams and crystal chandeliers. Private alcoves and a lovely fireplace add to the elegant, intimate ambiance, while additional space on our balcony and in our catering kitchen help us accommodate large groups of guests. To pamper our couples we offer a Bride’s suite with a private garden and a Groom’s den with easy access to your wedding party. Three beautiful and romantic outdoor areas are available for ceremonies and celebrations, held under shaded stately live oak trees, against our lakefront backdrop, or in our antique reclaimed French gazebo. We encourage you to visit and see all the the outstanding options Ma Maison has to offer.

Nestled under a grove of live oak trees, The Grove is our largest and most popular outdoor location for your romantic Hill Country ceremony. The area can be adapted to host small ceremonies, as well as ceremonies of up to 600 guests. There is a stone altar wired to accommodate lighting and audio equipment.

The Green Cathedral

Our Lake View ceremony site (also known as Lac Moise) doubles as a graceful transitional space for ceremonies in the Green Cathedral with receptions in our Great Hall. Couples often choose to entertain their guests here with activities for guests such as lawn games and photo booths during their cocktail hour. A blank canvas that can be uniquely personalized to your wedding theme or plan, this area is perfect for specialty activities and smaller gatherings.

The Trellis

With a stone fire ring just outside where guests gather on a chilly evenings, the Trellis can be rented for rehearsal dinners or used as an outdoor reception area. From The Trellis, you’ll find direct access to the beautiful Bell Tower and the private, gated, Bride’s Garden.

From start to finish Karen and her staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. This venue has everything for the perfect wedding or event. It is apparent that a lot of thought has gone in to creating this breath-taking venue and they continue to top themselves with updates. Throughout our wedding process Karen was always available to help with advice and suggestions. She is truly amazing!! She worked closely with my wedding planner and was very accommodating. I was also able to take my bridal portraits there and because nothing else was schedule we were able to stay a little longer than scheduled. XOXO Karen! The pictures were gorgeous!! That bridal suite!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! On the wedding day it was more than I could have ever imagined. Whatever we needed they were there — the whole night!! Everything was organized and taken care of. They go above and beyond what they are asked to do and make you feel like family. If you are looking for a place to hold your event look no further. Ma Maison has it all!! – Erin 1/05/2016

I knew right when I walked in to Ma Maison that I couldn’t get married anywhere else. Karen Moise, the venue owner, is a God sent. She went above and beyond to make our wedding a dream come true for us, our families, and our guests. She has years of wedding planning experience, so she is very knowledgable and friendly with all of the best vendors in Austin. She even helped us plan out a budget that worked for us so we could afford our dream wedding. And she is just one of the many fabulous things about this beautiful venue. It has a rustic feeling like some of the other venues in the area but it’s elegance and versatility are completely unique. And they will do everything in their power to customize their venue to fit your personality and your vision. Our experience at Ma Maison was nothing short of amazing. I simply can’t say enough good things about it! Do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t regret it! - Maddie P 1/29/2016

We cannot say enough about this venue! It is family owned and you can definitely tell! So welcoming and easy to work with!! Not to mention the entire place is picture perfect! – Sarah L 1/09/2016

Ma Maison is an up-and-coming venue located in the heart of the hill country, Dripping Springs, Texas. It is a beautifully constructed venue completed with details to make your wedding ceremony and reception memorable not only to the bride and groom, but to your friends and family! The owners have taken bits and pieces from venues all over and mapped out a Tuscan-style venue with 3 amazing and unique outdoor ceremony sites and grand reception hall with sky-high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers. It is definitely a one-of-a-kind venue that will complete your day in all ways imaginable. The only downfall was that the services included in the venue rental package were not always fully secured. My bridal photos were shared by an unannounced additional photo shoot that caused wait times for certain shots. There is also a clause in the contract that does not require Ma Maison to guarantee the availability of the venue for a rehearsal outside of 30 days prior to the event. However, my rehearsal time was forced to get rescheduled within the 30 days of my wedding due to another event that got quickly booked the same day of our rehearsal. This caused the majority of my family and friends to miss the rehearsal. We weren’t so happy about that, and it didn’t leave a great lasting impression on us. Regardless, there is no denying the beauty of the venue, but the reliability of the use of space for other related events could use some work. – Katelyn G 12/22/2015

One of the most important decisions about our wedding was choosing the location. I wanted our weekend to be perfect, leaving our guests in awe of their experience. I have been in the wedding industry for many years, which gave me a front row seat to countless weddings, dreaming of what mine would one day be like. Along the way, I have met many wonderful vendors and fell in love with so many venues making it difficult to choose, but one venue always stood out. I remember the first time I went to Ma Maison, it was still under construction and I met Karen and Rachel. They were so excited about their vision and what it would offer to many brides and families, I couldn’t help but be mesmerized. They were so welcoming and immediately I felt like family. Once the venue was complete, exceeding all expectations, I had the privilege to start coordinating weddings there and saw something that was unique to other venues. A family that was pouring love into every client and making sure that when they arrived onsite they felt like Ma Maison was their home. I wasn’t engaged at the time but I knew one day, I wanted to get married there. It was apparent that this was a venue that provided an atmosphere where there was zero stress when the bride walked in the font door and that it was organized ensuring everything would be in place and ready for my special day. Fast-forward, to our wedding day! It was magical, beyond anything I could have dreamt. My favorite memory of the morning was when I arrived to Ma Maison and Karen greeted me with the biggest hug and a little mason jar that read “Rain Collected on Your Wedding Day at Ma Maison”. Karen had thought about me hours before we even got there and collected the rain water from that morning for our baby’s first christening. She turned the stress of the rain into a priceless keepsake that is now in our living room, serving as a sweet reminder of our wedding day. There was a surreal calmness that I had knowing she was there overseeing everything. As the ceremony was about to start Karen walked my son and I up the bell tower so we could make our grand entrance down the stairs. Karen had become a dear friend and knew our story and how special it was for my son to walk me down the stairs to my dad. The orchestra started playing and she stopped us at the top of the stairs and took a picture of my son and I that I will cherish forever. Karen went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and breathing ☺ I really can’t say enough wonderful things about Karen and the dream venue she and her family have created. It was absolutely the best experience and the best day of my life. I am forever thankful to Karen and know my dream was a reality because of her selflessness and kind heart. – Alisha A 12/04/2015
